Frequently asked questions
How does Flora Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress feel in different positions and seasons?
The four-layer design with a soft top and adjustable middle layers provides balanced pressure relief and support, while the wool filling and organic cotton cover help with temperature regulation for year-round comfort.
Who would benefit most from this mattress and who might not be ideal?
It's a good fit for sleepers who want customizable firmness and excellent breathability from natural latex and wool. If you prefer a single, fixed feel without adjustable layers, this may feel too variable for you.
What makes the two customizable middle layers useful for different sleepers?
The middle layers are adjustable between firm, medium, or soft, allowing Queen and King sizes to offer dual firmness to accommodate different body types, weights, and sleeping positions.
How should I set up Flora to get the best initial comfort?
Unpack and allow the mattress to decompress fully, then position the layers to your preferred firmness before use. The 2" soft top layer cushions pressure points, and the 2" firm base provides foundational support.
What materials and construction should I know about for daily use?
It uses 100% GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex in four layers, with an organic cotton cover and organic wool filling. Each latex layer is individually wrapped to minimize friction and movement transfer, and the wool contributes temperature regulation and natural flame resistance.
Can this mattress be used with an adjustable bed base?
Yes, this mattress is compatible with adjustable bases, offering flexibility for different sleeping positions and setups.
The Flora 10" mattress combines four certified organic Dunlop latex layers for tailored comfort, featuring two customizable middle layers that adapt to varying needs and sleeping styles. A 2" firm base layer is paired with a configurable 3" middle layer and a 3" upper layer (each adjustable to firm, medium, or soft), topped by a 2" soft latex layer to cushion pressure points. Encased in a luxurious organic cotton cover with organic wool filling, it provides temperature regulation and natural flame retardancy for peaceful, healthy nights. Queen and King sizes offer dual firmness customization to suit different body types, weights, and positions, and the mattress is compatible with adjustable bases and optional hardwood slatted foundations.
Every latex layer is individually wrapped to minimize friction and movement transfer, and all components are certified organic.
